Brand Guideline | Updated January 12, 2023
The Catalyst Conference logo represents the synergy of perspectives and voices to catalyze resilient, healthy, and thriving communities for all. The graphic embodies this in bright color, overlapping shapes, and a hexagonal center representing a space to gather and share ideas.
Logos
The Catalyst Conference logos are used on all communications, including external, internal, and third-party communications.

Signature Anatomy
The signature system is compromised of four different elements that can be displayed in various color schemes depending on the use case.
Color Applications
Similar to the flexibility discussed in the previous section, we have built the same flexibility in color application. All of the main color modes have been created, as well as reverse versions to create a consistent brand color presence across modes and applications.

Usage on Backgrounds
The full color logos should be used only on white, black or light blue backgrounds. Avoid using full color logos on photographs unless the logo sits on a white or light blue area of the image.
One Color Usage
The one color logo should be used only on photographs and color backgrounds within the Catalyst color palette. However we strongly prefer to use the full color logo whenever possible.
Logo Usage to Avoid
Color
The Catalyst Conference brand colors are an important element of the brand identity. Just as logos should not be modified, colors should be respected in the same way. Color values should never be modified or altered.
Color Palette & Mode Values
The primary colors are the colors used in the signature. For flexibility, shades of gray are also called out here which may be used in various branding collateral.

Color Mode ICF
RGB / HTML COLOR MODE
RGB is the color mode most commonly used for screen graphics simply because this is the way most screens work. Most printers use this method now as it is cheap to manufacture and has become the standard. RGB Mode stands for Red, Green, and Blue. Red, Green and Blue, are also the colors of the light cannons in your monitor. These 3 colors are blended to create up to 16 million color variations.
CMYK COLOR MODE
CMYK is the color mode most commonly used for professional color printing. This means that the colors in the image are presented using a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks. It is the arrangement of these dots of pure color on the printed page that gives the final impression of the color.
PMS COLOR MODE
The Pantone Matching System® is used among most conventional printers as a way to recreate colors and giving graphic designers and printers a simple, accurate global language for communicating color. By standardizing the colors, different manufacturers in different locations can all refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match.
Typography
Typography is an essential element of our brand identity and visual style. Use the brand typeface whenever possible.
As a rule of thumb, yellow or orange type should never be used on a blue background.
